ChordPro + LRC Format Guide
SynchroPlay combines the industry-standard ChordPro notation format for chords with LRC timecodes for millisecond-precise audio scrolling and band synchronization.
1. The Hybrid Syntax (Timecode + Chords + Lyrics)
Place the LRC time tag [mm:ss.xx] at the
start of any line to sync it with playback. Chords are placed inside brackets [Chord] directly ahead of the lyric syllable:
{title: Stand by Me}
{artist: Ben E. King}
{key: A}
{time: 4/4}
[00:15.50] {start_of_verse: Verse 1}
[00:17.20] When the [A]night has come
[00:21.00] And the [F#m]land is dark
[00:25.50] And the [D]moon is the [E]only light we'll [A]see
[00:32.00] {end_of_verse}2. Supported Directives
{title: ...} or {t: ...} Sets the song title displayed in the header.
{artist: ...} or {a: ...} Sets the artist name.
{key: ...} Displays the key badge in the performance toolbar (e.g., {key: Em}).
{time: ...} Displays the time signature badge (e.g., {time: 4/4} or {time: 6/8}).
{comment: ...} or {c: ...} Renders performance remarks or playing instructions in italics on stage.
3. Structural Sections & Color Coding
Section tags apply distinct accent borders and header pills during live performance. You can
optionally include a custom label after a colon (e.g., {start_of_verse: Soft Verse}):
4. Bar / Grid Notation
For instrumental solos, intros, and chord charts without lyrics, use grid blocks with pipe | delimiters:
[00:05.00] {start_of_grid: Intro Solo}
[00:07.00] | Am . . . | F . . . | C . . . | G . . . |
[00:15.00] {end_of_grid}
